Frequently asked questions
What kind of images work best?
Screenshots and straight, well-lit photos of printed tables. Hold the phone directly above the page, avoid shadows, and crop away anything outside the table.
Does it read handwriting?
Not reliably. OCR is designed for printed text; handwritten tables will have many mistakes.
Can I convert several photos at once?
Yes, up to 10. Each photo becomes its own sheet, or choose All in one to stack them.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Text recognition runs in your browser; the first run downloads the OCR engine from this site.
Why is a number wrong?
OCR can confuse similar characters like 0 and O or 1 and l. Always check totals and important figures in the preview.
