Frequently asked questions
Is the image resizer free?
Yes. Resize as many images as you want, free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Resizing happens in your browser, so your image never leaves your device.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp; we use high-quality, step-by-step scaling. Making it much bigger can look soft, because new detail can't be invented.
What does “Lock aspect ratio” do?
It keeps the width and height in proportion, so the image isn't stretched. Turn it off only if you need an exact size like 600×600.
What is the largest size I can create?
Up to 8000 pixels on each side and about 16 megapixels in total, so it works on phones too.
