Which formats can I convert?

You can convert JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG images (anything your browser can open) into JPG, PNG or WebP.

Is the converter free and private?

Yes. It's free, and conversion happens in your browser, so your images are never uploaded.

What happens to transparent backgrounds?

PNG and WebP keep transparency. JPG doesn't support it, so transparent areas become white.

Which format should I choose?

JPG works everywhere and suits photos. PNG is best for screenshots, logos and graphics with sharp edges. WebP gives the smallest files for websites.

Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Only if your browser can open HEIC (Safari on Mac and iPhone can). On other browsers you'll see an error for those files.
