Frequently asked questions

How do I make a photo under 20 KB for a form?

Choose 20 KB as the maximum and click Resize. The tool finds the best quality that fits, and shrinks the dimensions only if needed.

The form needs a minimum size (e.g. 10–20 KB). Can it do that?

Yes. Enter the minimum. If the photo comes out smaller, harmless empty data is added to the file to reach the minimum; the photo itself doesn't change.

The form needs exact pixels like 200 × 230. What do I do?

Enter the width and height. The photo is centre-cropped to fill that size without stretching.

Why JPG?

JPG gives the smallest photos and is accepted by almost every online form.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser.
