Web Scraper

Extract tables, links and data from a web page to Excel.

Source

Pages are fetched as “HQ8TBot”, follow each site's robots.txt, and are read up to 5 MB. Pages built with JavaScript may show little content — paste their HTML from your browser instead. Use scraped data in line with the site's terms.

How to use

  1. 1Enter the page URL and tap Fetch page (or paste the page HTML).
  2. 2Choose what to extract: tables, links, images, headings, emails or SEO tags.
  3. 3For lists and product cards, use Custom selector with CSS selectors.
  4. 4Preview the rows and download Excel, CSV or JSON.

Frequently asked questions

How does it work?

Our server fetches the public page once (browsers block reading other sites directly), and the extraction runs in your browser. Nothing is stored.

Does it respect robots.txt?

Yes. If a site's robots.txt disallows automated access to the page, the scraper won't fetch it. Pages are read up to 5 MB.

Why is a page empty?

Some sites build their content with JavaScript after loading. Open the page in your browser, copy its HTML (or the element's HTML from DevTools) and use Paste HTML.

How do I use a custom selector?

Set a row selector such as .product to repeat for each card, then add columns with selectors inside it, like h2 for the name and a with href for the link.

Is web scraping legal?

Reading public pages is generally fine, but follow each site's terms, don't collect personal data without a lawful reason, and don't republish copyrighted content.
