What's the difference between screen size and window size?

Screen resolution is the size of your whole display. Window (viewport) size is the part of the browser showing the web page, which changes as you resize the window.

What is device pixel ratio?

How many physical pixels are used for one CSS pixel. Phones and Retina screens often have 2 or 3, which makes text look sharper.

Why is my resolution lower than the display's spec?

Browsers report CSS pixels. Multiply by the device pixel ratio to get the physical resolution, which we show too.

Does zoom affect the result?

Yes. Browser zoom changes the device pixel ratio and window size. Reset zoom (Ctrl+0) for true values.
