How to use
- 1Tap the buttons or type with your keyboard, e.g. 2+3×4 or sin(30).
- 2Choose DEG or RAD for trigonometry.
- 3Watch the live answer under your expression, then press = or Enter.

Frequently asked questions
Does it follow BODMAS?
Yes. Brackets come first, then powers, then × and ÷, then + and −. For example, 2+3×4 = 14.
What is the difference between DEG and RAD?
They are two units for angles. School problems usually use degrees (DEG), where sin(30) = 0.5. Radians (RAD) are used in higher maths, where sin(π/6) = 0.5.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes. Type numbers and + − * / ^ ( ) ! %, press Enter for the answer, Backspace to delete and Escape to clear.
What's the difference between log and ln?
log is the logarithm to base 10 (log 100 = 2). ln is the natural logarithm to base e (ln e = 1).
How does % work here?
% divides the number before it by 100, so 50% = 0.5 and 200×15% = 30. For discounts and increases, our Percentage Calculator is easier.
