Frequently asked questions

Which option is safest for sensitive numbers?

Use Black box for Aadhaar, PAN, bank or card numbers. Light blur can sometimes be reversed or read, but a solid black box can't.

Can I hide more than one area?

Yes. Draw as many boxes as you need. Click ✕ on a box in the list to remove it.

Does the original photo change?

No. A new image is created for download; your original file stays as it is.

Is location data removed too?

Yes. The downloaded image is newly created, so camera and GPS metadata from the original isn't copied.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, which matters for private documents.
