How is age calculated?

We count full years first, then full months, then the remaining days, the same way age is counted on forms and certificates.

Can I find my age on a specific date?

Yes. Change the “Age on” date to any date, such as the cut-off date for a government exam or admission form.

What if I was born on 29 February?

In years without 29 February, your birthday countdown uses 28 February. Your age in years and days is still exact.

Is my date of birth saved anywhere?

No. The calculation happens in your browser and nothing is stored or sent.

Why does my age in days look so big?

It's the total number of days you've lived, including leap days. For example, 30 years is roughly 10,957 days.
