Frequently asked questions

How is SGPA calculated?

Multiply each subject's credits by its grade point, add them up, and divide by the total credits.

How is CGPA calculated?

It's the credit-weighted average of all semester SGPAs, so semesters with more credits count more.

How do I convert CGPA to percentage?

Many universities use CGPA × 9.5. Some use their own formula (for example (CGPA − 0.75) × 10), so check your university rules.

What are the grade points?

On the UGC scale: O = 10, A+ = 9, A = 8, B+ = 7, B = 6, C = 5, P = 4 and F = 0.
