Frequently asked questions

Will my photo lose quality?

Edits are applied to the full-size photo. Choose PNG for no compression, or JPG at high quality for a smaller file.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. All editing happens in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device.

How do I make a photo black and white?

Tap the “Black & White” filter, or drag Saturation all the way to the left.

Can I fix a dark photo?

Yes. Raise Brightness a little and Contrast slightly. Too much brightness washes out colours, so go step by step.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. It works in any modern mobile browser; no app needed.
