Frequently asked questions

Why is the PNG background see-through?

With “Transparent”, the corners outside the circle are clear, so it looks round anywhere. Choose White or Colour for a JPG with a solid background.

Which size should I use?

1080 px suits Instagram and WhatsApp. 800 px is plenty for LinkedIn and Facebook. Apps crop profile pictures to a circle themselves, so the square version works too.

Can I add a ring like “Open to work”?

Yes. Increase the border ring and pick its colour.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device.

My face is too small. What should I do?

Use the zoom slider, then drag the photo so your face sits in the middle.
