Frequently asked questions
Will my bank statement come out in proper columns?
Usually yes. Columns are rebuilt from where the text sits on each page, so date, description, debit, credit and balance land in separate columns. Check the preview before downloading.
Are amounts saved as numbers?
Yes. Values like 1,23,456.78, ₹500 or (1,200) become real numbers you can add up in Excel. Account numbers and codes with leading zeros stay as text.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. Pages without a text layer are read with OCR in English or Hindi. OCR can misread some characters, so check important figures.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, which matters for bank statements and other private documents.
Can I get one sheet per page?
Yes. Choose One per page for separate sheets, or All in one to stack every page into a single sheet.
