Frequently asked questions

Will the layout look exactly like the PDF?

The text, paragraphs, headings, bold text and page breaks are kept so you can edit easily. Images, tables and multi-column layouts are converted to plain text.

Does it work with scanned PDFs?

Scanned pages are images with no text. Run them through the OCR Searchable PDF tool first, then convert the result here.

Does Hindi text convert?

Yes, if the PDF has real Hindi text (not a scan). Some older PDFs use non-Unicode fonts like Kruti Dev; those come out garbled and need the Kruti Dev to Unicode tool.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser, so private documents stay on your device.

Is there a page limit?

Up to 500 pages and 100 MB per PDF.
