Frequently asked questions
When should I send a final notice?
After one or two polite reminders have gone unanswered. A final notice states that you may take further action if payment is not made.
What is the MSME interest clause?
Under Section 16 of the MSMED Act, 2006, buyers who delay payment to registered micro and small enterprises beyond the agreed period (maximum 45 days) must pay compound interest at three times the RBI bank rate.
Is this a legal notice?
No. It is a business letter. A formal legal notice is usually sent by an advocate; this letter is the step before that.
Can I send it on WhatsApp?
Yes. Download the PDF and share it, or copy the text into a message.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The letter is written and the PDF and Word files are made in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
