Frequently asked questions

How is ROI calculated?

ROI = (amount returned − amount invested) ÷ amount invested × 100.

What is annualised ROI?

The yearly compound rate that turns the investment into the final value: (returned ÷ invested)^(1 ÷ years) − 1. It lets you compare investments of different lengths.

Is 50% ROI over 5 years good?

It equals about 8.4% a year. Compare it with a fixed deposit or index fund return for the same period.

ROI vs ROAS for ads?

ROAS is revenue ÷ ad spend. ROI uses profit, so it shows if the campaign actually made money after product costs.

Can ROI be negative?

Yes. If you got back less than you invested, ROI is negative and the tool shows the loss.
