Is my recording uploaded?
No. Audio is recorded and converted in your browser. It never leaves your device unless you share the file.
Is there a time limit?
No fixed limit. Very long recordings use more memory, so for hours of audio, stop and save in parts.
Why use noise reduction?
It removes fan and background hum for voice notes and calls. Turn it off when recording music, as it can make instruments sound thin.
What if the microphone doesn't work?
Allow microphone access when your browser asks, or in site settings. Also check that no other app is using the mic. Try our Mic Test tool.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, in Chrome on Android and Safari on iPhone.
