60–70 is plain English that most adults read easily. Blogs and marketing often aim for 60+; academic text is often below 30.
What does grade level mean?
The US school grade needed to understand the text. Grade 8 means a 13–14 year old can follow it.
How can I improve my score?
Use shorter sentences and everyday words. Break long sentences, and replace words like “utilise” with “use”.
Does it work for Hindi?
No. These formulas count English syllables, so they only work for English text.
