Frequently asked questions
Are the teams really random?
Yes. Names are shuffled with your browser's secure random generator, so nobody can predict or rig the teams.
What if the numbers don't divide evenly?
Teams differ by at most one person. For example, 10 people in 3 teams gives 4, 3 and 3.
Are duplicate names removed?
Yes. Each exact name is used once, so pasting a list twice doesn't create duplicates.
Can I use it for classroom groups?
Yes. Choose People per team, for example 4, to make study or project groups.
