Where is my note saved?
In your browser's local storage on this device only. It's not uploaded, so nobody else can read it, but it won't sync to other devices.
Will my note be lost?
It stays until you clear it or clear your browser data. Private/incognito windows forget everything when closed. Download important notes as .txt.
Can I use it without internet?
Once the page has loaded, typing and saving work offline.
Is there a size limit?
Browsers allow about 5 MB of storage, which is roughly a million words.
Can I open a text file?
Yes. Use “Open file” to load a .txt file into the notepad.
