Frequently asked questions
Grayscale or black & white – which should I pick?
Grayscale keeps photos looking natural. Black & white makes text darker and paper whiter, which saves the most ink and looks cleaner for scanned documents.
Why print in grayscale?
Colour ink costs much more. Many shops charge less for black & white prints, and some forms must be submitted in black & white.
Will I still be able to select text?
No. Pages are converted to images, so text can't be selected or searched. Keep your original if you need that.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Conversion happens in your browser, so your file stays on your device.
Why is the file bigger or smaller than before?
Text-only PDFs usually get bigger because each page becomes an image. Colour scans usually get smaller. Choose “Smaller file” to reduce the size.
