Is the hidden text really removed?
Yes. Every page with a box is turned into a flat image with the black box burned in, so the text under it can't be copied or recovered.
What happens to pages without boxes?
They stay exactly as they were, with selectable text and full quality.
Why wasn't my text found by search?
Scanned pages are pictures with no text layer. Draw boxes over those parts by hand.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your document never leaves your browser, which is important for sensitive files.
Can I share an Aadhaar card safely?
Yes. Black out the first 8 digits of the number to make a masked copy before sharing.
