Frequently asked questions
How is fuel cost calculated?
Fuel needed = distance ÷ mileage. Cost = fuel needed × price per litre (or per kg for CNG).
What mileage should I use?
Use your real-world mileage, not the company claim. Highway mileage is usually 10–20% better than city mileage.
How do I find my car's actual mileage?
Fill the tank fully, reset the trip meter, drive normally, then fill up again. Kilometres driven ÷ litres filled = your mileage.
Does it include tolls?
Add tolls and parking in “Other costs” and they're included in the total and the split.
Can I use it for EVs?
Yes: enter km per kWh as mileage and the electricity price per kWh as the fuel price.
