Frequently asked questions

Does the count include the end date?

By default, no: from 1 to 2 January is 1 day. Tick “Include end date” to count both days, which is common for leave, rentals and event days.

What are working days?

Working days are Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not removed because they differ by state and company.

How are months counted?

Full calendar months are counted first, then the remaining days. For example, 15 January to 20 March is 2 months and 5 days.

How does adding months work at the end of a month?

If the day doesn't exist in the new month, we use the month's last day. For example, 31 January + 1 month = 28 or 29 February.

Are leap years handled?

Yes. All calculations use the real calendar, including 29 February in leap years.
