Frequently asked questions
How do I convert binary to decimal?
Type the binary number, choose base 2, and read the Decimal line. For example 1010 in binary is 10.
Can I type 0x or 0b prefixes?
Yes. 0x for hex, 0b for binary and 0o for octal are ignored automatically, and so are spaces and underscores.
Is there a size limit?
No practical limit. Big integers are used, so numbers with hundreds of digits convert exactly.
Are fractions or negative numbers supported?
Negative whole numbers are supported. Fractions (like 10.5) are not.
