Business Card (Visiting Card) Size in India, What to Put on It and Printing Tips

A good visiting card is easy to read, fits in a wallet and helps people contact you quickly.
Standard size
The common size in India is 3.5 × 2 inches (about 89 × 51 mm). Designs should be made at 300 dpi for sharp printing — that's 1050 × 600 pixels.
What to include
- Your name and designation
- Business name and logo
- Mobile number (the one on WhatsApp)
- Email and website
- Address — short, with the city and PIN code
- Optional: GSTIN, a one-line tagline, or your services on the back
Keep it uncluttered: two fonts at most, and contact details at 8–9 point or larger.
Add a QR code
A contact QR code (vCard) lets someone scan the card with their phone camera and save your name, number, email and website in one tap — no typing mistakes. You can also link the QR to your website or Google Business profile.
Printing
- Paper: 300–350 GSM card for a sturdy feel; matte or gloss lamination makes it last longer.
- At home: print an A4 sheet with 10 cards on thick card paper at 100% scale and cut along the crop marks.
- At a print shop: take the PDF; for double-sided cards, the back page is already lined up.
